【What is Arita ware?】
Arita ware is a type of Japanese pottery with a rich history spanning over 400 years. It was first produced in the town of Arita in Saga prefecture in the early 17th century, and has since become known for its beautiful designs featuring vivid colors such as reds, yellows, blues, and gold. Arita ware encompasses a wide range of styles, from luxurious and elaborate to more simple and understated pieces.

【Product information】
This beautiful bowl features the Tokusa(十草) pattern, a vertical stripe design inspired by the rough horsetail plant grown in Japan. This plant was traditionally believed to increase the lustre of gold when used for polishing. The pattern is thought to bring good luck (gold) even today. The bowl has a unique petal-like shape and is the perfect size for serving yogurt, desserts, or soup.
