Assort Sake glass Fish in Aomori | Tsugaru Vidro | Set of 4

【What is Tsugaru vidoro?】
Tsugaru vidoro is one of the traditional crafts of Aomori in the northern part of Japan. Hokuyo Glass Co., Ltd originally produced glass fishing floats, but when the plastic floats took over the market, they started to use the same glass-blowing techniques to make vases and other glassware products. Blending with over 100 different colours, the glass artisans capture the colours of Japan's four seasons and sceneries. Tsugaru vidoro is meticulously crafted by hand. Works of Tsugaru vidoro make a great gift for special occasions or someone special!

【Product information】

The Aomori no Sakana (Aomori Seafood) project began with a wish to share the delicious fish caught by Aomori’s fishermen with more people. Glass artisans in Aomori blended coloured glass to suit each fish, creating sake cups (sakazuki) that look almost alive. Each cup is made of many coloured layers and is crafted by hand.

Enjoy Aomori’s seafood and Aomori’s sake from these cups. They make a memorable gift for a special occasion or for someone special.
