Colour of beauty - Handmade glassware artisans Tsugaru Vidro from Aomori

Tsugaru Vidoro is one of the traditional crafts in Aomori, the Northern part of Japan. Hokuyo Glass Co., Ltd originally produced glass fishing floats, but when the plastic floats took over the market, they started to use the same techniques glass-blowing to make the flower vases and other glassware products. Blending with over 100 different colours, the glass artisans express the colours of Japan's four seasons and sceneries. Tsugaru vidoro is devotedly made by hand. It could be an excellent gift for special occasions or someone special!
